Ready to eat? Not afraid to get messy? Perfect. Pull up a chair and join us for the first ever #GlutinoPancakePalooza at the Indianapolis Gluten-Free Food Allergy Fest.

First things first, here are the rules…

RULES FOR THE PANCAKE EATING COMPETITION

1. You must sign up to be a contestant by 11:59pm on October 18 and indicate which day (10/24 or 10/25) you prefer. Space is limited and contestants will be picked randomly based on their date preference. There will be two competitions per day (at 10:30am and 11:00am). If you are chosen, we will let you know which time we have assigned to you. Signing up does not guarantee a spot in the competition, and participating does not eliminate the need to purchase tickets to the Fest.
2. You will need to be at least 12 years of age or older to be a contestant. Anyone under 18 years must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian to the competition. Age will be verified when you arrive for the competition.
3. Each contestant will be given 2 stacks of 4 pancakes. Whoever consumes EIGHT pancakes in the quickest time will be declared the winner. Your mouth must be completely empty and no pancake bigger than crumb size can be left on your plate and area (this includes table, chair, floor).
4. Forks and knives will be provided but not required. Once you have finished your pancakes, you will need to raise your hand to notify the judges. Once a hand is raised, all contestants need to stop eating. If a winner is not declared, we will resume the competition.
5. One small bottled water will be provided to each contestant.
6. Maple syrup and Earth Balance Soy Free Buttery Spread will be provided.
7. If, at any point during or immediately after the contest, you regurgitate any food, you will be disqualified.
