Jules Shepard

PresentersJulesShepard2Jules Shepard is a regular contributor to many magazines, including Living Without’s Gluten Free & More (where she is also Associate Editor) and Gluten-Free Living, as well as Prevention.com. She is the author of three highly-regarded published books and numerous e-books on gluten-free living and cooking. She is a featured “Celebrity Chef” in Living Without’s Best Gluten Free Cookbook and is a featured Contributor to Dr. Alessio Fasano’s 2014 book, Gluten Freedom. Jules also hosts a popular weekly radio show, personally pens one of the community’s most active gluten-free blogs, oversees the annual Gluten-Free Cookie Swap, and moderates her Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram and Google+ presences.

In addition, she runs a gluten-free flour company and logs tens of thousands of miles a year speaking to, teaching and encouraging gluten-free consumers around the country. As an industry consultant, she helps companies in their transition to offering safe gluten- and allergen-free foods, and she has also spoken at numerous industry and retailer events, including Natural Products Expo East education seminars and Healthy Baking Seminars.

Pam Jordan

PresentersPamJordanPam Jordan was diagnosed with celiac disease in January 2011 after struggling for fifteen years with symptoms.  She is a working wife and mom to three young kids.  Her blog (www.imaceliac.com) provides simple Gluten Free recipes, product reviews, restaurant reviews, and giveaways.  Pam wrote a cookbook called Family Approved Gluten Free Recipes. It is filled with easy to make gluten free recipes using ingredients you already have in your pantry.  To keep on track, Pam creates weekly gluten free menus to stay on budget and feed her active family.

 

Cindy Gordon

PresentersCindyGordonCindy is a mother of two boys; one in elementary school and one at preschool with multiple food allergies. Cindy is a brand ambassador for Sunbutter and the National Foundation for Celiac Awareness as well as a preferred blogger for Enjoy Life Foods. Cindy recently joined the Leadership Team of FAACT (Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Connection Team) in 2015. She also contributes to MyLifeWithFoodAllergies.com and has written an article for Gluten Free & More Magazine. Cindy runs a successful gluten free allergy friendly blog, vegetarianmamma.com and released her first cookbook in July 2014. Be on the lookout for her second book, The Dessert Fork – an allergy friendly dessert cookbook scheduled to publish in May 2015.

 

Sueson Vess

PresentersSuesonVessSueson Vess is a professional chef, author/food writer and educator helping people eat healthier, especially those with celiac disease, autism spectrum disorders including ADD and ADHD, food intolerances and others with chronic illnesses. Sueson’s focus is on “Foods with Benefits” – learning to increase delicious beneficial foods in your daily life.

Special Eats provides educational presentations and cooking classes and is available for individual consultations. Sueson’s cookbooks include Special Eats: Simple Delicious Solutions for Gluten & Dairy Free Cooking, now in its 6th edition and Living Without Magazine’s Best Gluten-Free Cookbook. She is a contributing writer for Gluten-Free & More, formerly Living Without Magazine, The Autism File, City View Fayetteville and Sandhills Naturally magazines and host/chef of educational and cooking DVDs.

 

Amy Macklin

Taylor Miller
